About the Presenter

Amber Heard-Booth, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Division of Human Anatomy at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Dr. Heard-Booth teaches human gross anatomy and prosection to medical students, and works with the college’s clinical simulation team to integrate anatomy and ultrasound instruction into simulated patient care experiences. As a trained comparative and evolutionary anatomist, Dr. Heard-Booth is fascinated with anatomical variation and its impact on the body’s function and health.
