Why Everyone Should Volunteer with the AMI
Expand your toolkit of abilities, market yourself to clients and employers, and make new friends. Volunteering may be unpaid, but being a volunteer can mean real financial and personal gains. Use your voice, expertise, and interests to propel your career forward while guiding the organization to better serve you and your colleagues. You might even learn more about yourself in the process.
1. Learn about different areas and types of volunteering within the AMI.
2. Take the skills that you’ve developed or honed within the AMI and learn how to market them to clients and employers.
3. Expand your understanding of how the organization can better serve you, and how you can take part in shaping the broader goals of the AMI
