Project Description

Additive manufacturing innovations are pushing advancements in the fields of engineering, manufacturing, education, and medicine. The 3D printing of biocompatible materials, cells, and supporting components can now be implemented to create complex 3D functional living tissues. This journal cover is meant to convey this science to an educated lay audience, showing a stylized mechanical arm interacting with a human hand in a way reminiscent of The Creation of Adam.
