This illustration highlights eight important steps in performing a surgical cricothyrotomy. Because this procedure is typically performed in emergency situations, it was crucial to limit the amount of steps included in this handout. For this assignment, it was a requirement to work in black and a color of our choice. Orange was chosen to create a sense of urgency.
