Knee

With permission of Augusta University Archive

David was a wonderful watercolorist, as seen here is this knee anatomy figure.

Trained formally at the Art Students League in NYC, he went on to Augusta to interview with Orville Parkes for a spot in the curriculum at Medical College of Georgia, where he graduated in 1969. He returned to MCG in 1971 to join the faculty, where he influenced over 300 young medical illustrators in the intricacies of color theory, his specialty.
