Project Description

The challenge involved creating an engaging walkthrough of the lifecycle of exosome biosynthesis, transport, and delivery that highlighted the unique properties of exosomes in a clear and concise fashion. Exosomes are nanometer-sized vesicles that act as intercellular communicators between all cells within the body, making them an intriguing system of study for delivery of therapeutics. Codiak BioSciences is taking advantage of the natural propensity of exosomes to transfer macromolecule payloads between cells and needed a visual guide to teach their audiences about the complex biology behind the system they’re harnessing for their proprietary technology, engEx™ (not shown). Solving this challenge included development of an engaging and didactic narrative that felt immersive, sophisticated, and on-brand, yet was clear and succinct enough to support voice over during presentations and to drive deeper discussions.
