Project Description
The purpose of this illustration is to teach veterinary students how an ovariohysterectomy is performed on a pig. It describes the key events of the surgery and the surgical instruments that are used. The vector illustration was rendered in illustrator in a pen and ink style from a surgeon’s perspective. This clean and condensed style of illustration provides clear communication by excluding extraneous information and allows the veterinary student to focus only on the crucial aspects of the surgery.
