Project Description
The Pelvic Organ Prolapse Quantification (POP-Q) system is used to determine severity of prolapse and thus assist with surgical planning. This system, however, is not well documented. Currently available illustrations are overly simplistic and in need of elucidation. As a supplement to an original investigation published in the April 17th, 2018 issue of the Journal of American Medical Association, an illustration was created to more clearly demonstrate the location of the POP-Q points and to provide visual examples of prolapse stages 2-4.
