Project Description
This illustration accompanies a JAMA Medical News & Perspectives article discussing the progress and hurdles in medical research aiming to develop male contraceptive pills. Taking inspiration from vintage video games, the intention is to represent spermatozoa as the primary target for the contraceptives. The goal for effective male contraception is to reduce a man’s sperm count to ≤ 1 million/mL of seminal fluid.
