Project Description

Our client’s vehicle was rear-ended by a truck and he suffered significant acute head injuries resulting in residual brain damage. The injuries were so severe that after initial surgeries to stabilize the fractures, the client had to undergo further surgery to receive an orbital implant. The challenge involved creating a realistic client likeness and incorporating that over injured anatomy to create a compelling narrative. The client likeness was created with ZBrush, and the skull and facial fractures are based on CT data. Anatomic components like the parotid gland, nerves, and muscles were illustrated over the underlying head and skull. This solution aimed to elicit understanding and empathy from a jury and provide the audience with an accurate overview of the client’s injuries.
